Tōsh
Tōsh is the electronic music project of San Francisco-based musician and technologist Ashutosh Desai. Operating at the intersection of human emotion, dance, and machine innovation, Tōsh produces and DJs sophisticated house music, frequently pushing boundaries through live-electronic improvisation alongside instrumentalists.
His work has led to collaborations with Google DeepMind's Magenta project and the Robot Heart Foundation. Heavily informed by mentorship under live-electronic pioneer Sebastian Mullaert (Circle of Live), mixing engineer Hannes Bieger, and Billy Caso, Tōsh's sound design bridges the gap between deep club grooves and melody-forward musical dialogue.
